Associate Principal

Dear Rattlesnake Ridge and MUSD Community,

I am honored and excited to introduce myself as your new Associate Principal. I bring over a decade of experience in education, having served as a preschool teacher, dual language classroom teacher in grades 2–5, an MTSS Facilitator, and most recently as an elementary assistant principal in TUSD. Throughout my career, I have been deeply committed to supporting students, collaborating with staff, and partnering with families to create a strong and positive school community.

I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I moved to Tucson to attend the great University of Arizona, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Later, I attended Grand Canyon University, where I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. My experiences as both a student and educator in Arizona have shaped my passion for public education and my dedication to serving diverse communities.

I believe every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow. I am committed to fostering an inclusive environment where students thrive academically and socially, and where strong relationships with families and staff are at the heart of everything we do. I look forward to working together to continue building a culture of collaboration, respect, and high expectations for all students.

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling to new places and trying different foods! I am also a big Arizona Diamondbacks fan and love spending time with my dog, Charlie.

I am truly excited to join the Rattlesnake Ridge community and look forward to an amazing year ahead.
