Mrs. Lundeberg Named Top Five Finalist for Arizona Teacher of the Year!

Lauren Lundeberg, a Kindergarten teacher from Rattlesnake Ridge Elementary School, has been named a Top 5 finalist for the 2027 Arizona Teacher of the Year! This prestigious honor is presented annually by the Arizona Educational Foundation (AEF).

The Arizona Teacher of the Year program celebrates teachers who create learning experiences and inspire students to reach their full potential. Each year, one Teacher of the Year, four Ambassadors for Excellence, and five Semi-Finalists are selected from across the state.

Selected from 155 nominees, these outstanding teachers represent the very best of Arizona public education. One of these exceptional teachers will be named the 2027 Arizona Teacher of the Year this August, while all five finalists will serve as Ambassadors of Excellence, representing and uplifting the teaching profession across Arizona throughout the year.

Honorees receive professional learning opportunities, public recognition, and a platform to advocate for education statewide. AEF’s program highlights the critical role of teachers in shaping Arizona’s future and elevating the teaching profession.
